The brand new-look Boots Opticians practice in Burnley was officially opened by two of its loyal patients on Friday, 29 January 2016.
Jessica Young and June Rosser, officially opened the new practice on Friday. 17 year old Jessica has visited Boots Opticians in the area since the age of four, and June has been a patient there for over 25 years.
The brand new refurbished practice is located in the Boots UK store on St James Street in Burnley, and now offers patients three consultation rooms, and has a fresh new look, providing local residents with access to expert advice from the Boots team on their eye heath and hearing care needs.
It is recommended that eye checks are carried out every two years to detect any changes in vision and check for any possible underlying health issues.
Within the newly refurbished practice, customers will receive the highest standards in professional and personal eye care advice and also benefit from a large selection of products including Boots Opticians brand Kyusu and designer brands such as Ray Ban, Polo and Givenchy. Customers can also join the Boots Contact Lens Reward Scheme with lenses from just £4.50 per month and receive 10 percent off Boots branded products in Boots stores.
Other services available in the new store will include Boots Hearingcare services which will run free hearing health check clinics every Monday to Friday.
Anita Garcia, Practice Manager, Boots Opticians in Burnley, says: “Our new-look store will provide our customers and patients in Burnley with even more convenient access to expert services and advice, as well as great value promotions and offers. We are looking forward to welcoming more customers into our practice for all their eye health and hearing care needs.”
Over the weekend after the official unveiling, the practice team organised an impressive agenda of activities, including goodie bags, treasure hunts, and storytelling for local children.
Making a real difference to the Burnley community is a passion of the Boots Opticians team with a particular focus on children’s eye health. As part of a pioneering partnership with the National Literacy Trust, the Boots Opticians team are holding fund raising events on the opening weekend, and are also hoping to work closely with local primary schools to raise awareness of the importance of children’s eye health.
